To participate to our game, the first thing to do is to download a 'mush client'. That is, a little software that will allow you to connect to our game . Such software can be found as freeware or inexpensive shareware. The links below offer a few examples:

SimpleMU for Windows
MUSHclient for Windows
TinyFugue for Linux

SimpleMu:
Once installed, run it, then click on File --> New Connection Wizard.
A dialog box will appear, asking you to type:
Site address: akashat.com - then click on Next.
Port number: 6767 - then click on Next.
Select the type of game you are connecting to: click on MUSH, MUX OR MOO - then type Next.
New Site Name: Akashat - then click on Finish
SimpleMU will then connect you to Akashat.

Once you have the 'logon screen', type:

create <name> <password>> (example: create Bethany zebra). Then hit enter.
You will then be IN the game. In the welcome room.
Type: 'look here' (without the quotes), and hit enter, then read the instructions. Do as they say, and if you have any problem, or questions, type: nn textofyourquestion - and hit enter. There will be someone there to answer you.
If you don't get an answer, please, type +staff/all, and you will be given the name of all staffers, with their status: on duty or off duty. Try typing: p staffname = yourquestion, and if the staffer is on duty, they will answer you.
