No game can survive without policies and rules. We have tried to write our policies to help keep people safe - Akashat does explore some issues that have emotional impact - and allow people to have fun playing here. OOC respect is the core of our game and we try to emphasize that at all levels. Our most important policy concerns consent and it is required reading for every player.

We also have rules concerning age limits on this game. Akashat is a mush for exploring adult issues. We require that both the player and the character be at least eighteen years old. If you have reason to believe that a player might not be of age to play Akashat, please inform staff immediately.

We also try to create rules to help people play in theme - to build a coherent world. Akashat is an open chargen world - we do not require approval before characters go 'In Character' - enter the game world itself. This means that many people who might not try Akashat otherwise do. At the same time, we'd like to make sure that everyone is playing the same game - at least in public areas of the grid.
